The Bruins have owned the rights to center Carl Soderberg since 2007. Now, there’s a chance they may actually see him Stateside. Earlier this season, reports indicated that the B’s were planning to finally sign the 6-foot-3 Swedish forward, once his Swedish Elite League team, Linkopings HC, was eliminated from the playoffs. Good news B’s fans: Skelleftea AIK just won four straight and knocked Linkopings out of the tourney. Soderberg, who was originally elected by the St. Louis Blues No. 49 overall in 2004, led the SEL with 31 goals in the regular season to go with 29 assists in just 54 games. Soderberg was suspended earlier this postseason for dishing out a mean crosscheck, which can be seen here.

Jaromir Jagr’s Bruins Debut Lives Up to Expectations, But Future Hall of Famer Vows to Improve Game

BOSTON — Jaromir Jagr is no stranger to being showered with praise. He’s found success everywhere he’s been, and the fans of those teams have let him know about it. He is, after all, a future Hall of Famer. So you could understand why there was so much anticipation in Boston on Thursday for his debut with the Bruins. A walk through North Station an hour before the game produced...

Jaromir Jagr Was ‘Shocked’ to Join Bruins, But Is Excited to Get Going With B’s (Video)

Jaromir Jagr is no stranger to joining new teams, as his debut with the Bruins on Thursday night will mark the sixth team in his Hall of Fame career. However, that doesn’t mean the forward is used to changing teams. Jagr got his first taste of his new team on Thursday morning when he hit the ice for morning skate in advance of his first game in Black and Gold on Thursday night...

Jaromir Jagr Scores 680th Career NHL Goal in Bruins Debut (Video)

Jaromir Jagr didn’t waste too much time showing the TD Garden faithful that he’s still got some goals left in the tank. Just 1:20 into the second period of the Bruins-Devils game on Thursday night, Jagr tipped in his first goal as a member of the Black and Gold in his very first game with the Spoked-B on his chest. The 41-year-old, who was acquired via trade during Tuesday...

Tyler Seguin Centering Jaromir Jagr, Brad Marchand, While Kaspars Daugavins Expected to Make Bruins Debut

Tyler Seguin is sliding back to center and he’ll be doing so with one of the greatest wingers ever flanking him. With center Patrice Bergeron out with a concussion, head coach Claude Julien is moving Seguin to center — a position he played all his life before joining the Bruins, according to The Boston Globe. Seguin will be skating with recently acquired Jaromir Jagr on his wing...

Tuukka Rask, Jaromir Jagr Form Impromptu ’40-40 Club’ While Helping Bruins to Close Win Over Devils (Video)

Jaromir Jagr is 41 years old, but didn’t look it at the TD Garden. Tuukka Rask isn’t quite as old, but made just one fewer save than Jagr has years while recording a shutout victory. The B’s newest addition looked right at home alongside Tyler Seguin and Brad Marchand, scoring in the second period and celebrating not with his trademark salute, but instead with a more important...

Dougie Hamilton Tells Pee Wee Hockey Team It’s ‘Important to Play More Sports Than Just Hockey’ (Video)

The Bruins took some time out before Saturday night’s game to answer questions from the Minuteman Flames, an elite pee wee hockey team based in Mass. The players asked questions ranging from position-specific tips to what type of pump-up music members of the Bruins listen to before games. Bruins rookie defenseman Dougie Hamilton encouraged the young hockey stars to play other sports...

Jaromir Jagr Showcases Aggressiveness in Offensive Zone, Leading to Bruins’ Lone Goal (Video)

An injury to center Patrice Bergeron forced Bruins coach Claude Julien to shake up his highly productive second line Thursday night. Luckily for the B’s, that unit was able to retain its explosiveness even with the team’s best overall forward on the bench. Tyler Seguin shifted back to his natural position to take Bergeron’s spot in the middle, and newcomer Jaromir Jagr stepped...

The game had a lot of hype leading...

TiqIQ Ticket Preview: Bruins vs. Canadiens

By Matthew Feuerman of TiqIQ, The Bruins and Canadiens never like each other, especially when they’re fighting for the top seed in the Northeast Division. As of Thursday morning, only one point separates the two teams. That one point could dictate who gets home ice in the dog days of the NHL playoffs this season. Each team plays once before their Saturday tilt, which means any...

David Krejci hit on Brendan Gallagher and Alexei Emelin collides with Milan Lucic

I find it funny that Canadiens defenseman Francis Bouillon tries to fight David Krejci for his nice hit on Brendan Gallagher, but of course the minute that Boston Bruins Andrew Ference steps in for Krejci, Bouillon acts like your typical Montreal Canadien and drops to the ice and wants nothing to do with Ference. How about this attempted hit by Canadiens defenseman Alexei Emelin...

New Additions Heighten Expectations for Bruins, Who Will Face Tough Test Against Desperate Devils (Video)

Jaromir Jagr is set to make his Bruins debut Thursday night, and he will do so against a New Jersey Devils team that will be in desperate need of a win. Problem is, quite a bit is on the line for the B’s at the same time. The Devils have lost three overtime games in a row entering this matchup, and are clinging to the eighth and final spot in the Eastern Conference playoff picture...

Jagrection Rages In Boston. BRUINS WIN!

WARNING: WHAT YOU'RE ABOUT TO READ IS BASICALLY ME JIZZING MY PANTS OVER LAST NIGHT'S GAME. LETS FACE IT, IT WAS PROBABLY AS PERFECT OF A GAME THAT THE BRUINS COULD HAVE PLAYED OUTSIDE OF THE FIRST PERIOD. IF YOU WANTED ME TO DESCRIBE THIS RECAP WITH JUST ONE .GIF, IT WOULD BE THIS ONE:  Man, what a game this was. Is there anything better that you can ask...

36. New Jersey Devils at Boston Bruins. NOW WITH 100% MORE JAGR

Jesus Christ I think I have a huge boner right now.  And now with that, I feel like I should tell the people to temper their expectations for tonight's game. I've seen some people saying Jagr is scoring a hat trick tonight and then is going to pull out a missile and blow up the CEC and then restore faith in North Korea, so let's take it one game at a...
