NBA Injury News:
The New York Knicks were finally able to defeat the Boston Celtics and advance to the second round of the NBA Playoffs, but it didn’t come without additional injury concerns. Knicks All-Star Carmelo Anthony told reporters – including Ian Begley of ESPN New York – that his troublesome left arm “popped in and out” during the contest."It was a little sore throughout the whole game," Anthony said. "Then when Bradley came and hit my shoulder from behind, it really just kind of popped in and out a little bit. But I'm fine."The collision Anthony refers to happened in the fourth quarter between him and Avery Bradley. He admitted the arm is sore, but he also insisted that he’d be healthy enough to take the floor for Game 1 of the Knicks second-round series against the Indiana Pacers, which begins Sunday.Anthony initially injured his shoulder during Game 5 when it was tugged on by Kevin Garnett. He’s been hampered by the arm since the end of the regular season.Follow @hoopsinjurynews

I think we have own answer on if Jordan Crawford said something about Carmelo Anthony’s wife LaLa (you can watch the video here). LaLa took to social media to deliver a message for Crawford.
Crawford is on the bench because he isn’t that good, not exactly a denial, but I understand what she is saying. There are certain lines you shouldn’t cross.
There are a lot of things...
The second-seeded Knicks take on the third-seeded Pacers in a series that was highly anticipated. Melo broke out of the first round for just the second time of his career and his first time with the Knicks. The Knicks handled the Celtics in the first three games but the Celtics came back and took two games. The Knicks closed out the series in Boston in Game 6. The Pacers...
It’s not surprising why it’s very hard for a team to come back from a 3-0 deficit in a seven-game series. In the simplest terms, regardless of the sport, the team that goes up 3-0 is usually good. And good teams generally don’t do a complete 360 and lose four straight games after winning three straight. Mediocre teams usually don’t give themselves the opportunity to blow...
HELL HATH NO FURY
Carmelo Anthony believes his wife has every right to be upset with everything that has happened, saying, "She always gets thrown into the mix of the Boston Celtics series."
Oh Boston Celtics fans. In the first quarter of Friday night’s Game 6 match up, the Celtics fans started a chant trying to get into the head of Knicks star Carmelo Anthony. Yes, those were “Honey Nut Cheerios” chants you heard. In the end though, it didn’t even matter Knicks finally move on to round two of the playoffs after 13 years.
The Knicks almost blew the lead in...
Celtics fans broke out into a ‘Honey Nut Cheerios’ chant during the first quarter of Game 6 at the TD Garden between the Knicks-Celtics after Carmelo Anthony picked up his second foul.
Poor Carmelo Anthony.
He's taken so much abuse this season.
First Kevin Garnett told him his wife tastes like Honey Nut Cheerios. Or maybe he didn't.
Anyway, then Jordan Crawford most certainly said something else not so nice about Melo's wife.
Now, on top of all that. Melo's arm hurts.
"He yanked my arm out," Anthony said of Garnett. "It...
Back in January, Boston Celtics forward Kevin Garnett made the term “Honey Nut Cheerios” into a whole new thing after he spent some time trash-talking Carmelo Anthony about his wife, La La Vazquez.
Flash-forward to today, Celtics fans decided to serenade Carmelo with those exact words as he made his way to the Knicks bench area during game six of their first-round playoff series...
Carmelo Anthony has been in isolation on 44.7 percent of his offensive plays against the Boston Celtics.
Anthony has scored just .724 points per possession in isolation for the series, down from his regular season mark of .915 points per possession.
Anthony is shooting 32.2 percent on isolation plays, and 44.9 percent on other shots.
Tensions between the Boston Celtics and New York Knicks are really beginning to run high heading into Game 6 of their opening round playoff series. After Boston beat New York at Madison Square Garden on Wednesday night, Carmelo Anthony and Jordan Crawford got into it near the bench and had to be separated by teammates.
It is unclear exactly what Crawford was saying to Anthony, but...
Not that this comes to a surprise, Carmelo Anthony’s wife LaLa, has gone to her Instagram account to respond to Jordan Crawford.
Love it LaLa. Let him know he’s nothin’ but a bench warmer.
The post LaLa Responds To Jordan Crawford appeared first on Total Sports Blog.
On Wednesday, Carmelo Anthony and his band of knuckleheads dressed in all black for the "funeral" of the Boston Celtics, their first-round playoff opponent, despite the tactlessness of such a gesture two weeks after the Boston Marathon bombings.
So today let's clad ourselves in green and cheer for the Celtics -- and for some karma to catch up with the Knicks.
Le Batard really loves Miami. Which makes this weird.

Ok so when it broke this afternoon that LeBron received 120 out of 121 votes for NBA MVP, a witch hunt started to figure out who the hell voted for Carmelo Anthony.
Now we know.
It was the Miami...

Carmelo Anthony likes Eastern Conference playoff basketball, even the pounding and pain that goes with it.
The wide-open West was fun, with more scoring and less defense, and it certainly didn't hurt as much. But coming off his first series victory since leaving Denver - and his team's first in 13 years - he has adapted to the way it is on the other side.
And here comes...
