NASCAR drivers Carl Edwards and Trevor Bayne are among the nominees in Cartoon Network’s second-annual Hall of Game Awards.
Edwards is nominated in the “Dance Machine” category for his signature victory celebration, backflipping from the window of his race car. It is Edwards’ second Hall of Game nomination. He won the “In It To Win It” award last year during the inaugural Hall of Game Awards show.
Bayne’s win in the 2011 Daytona 500 last February got him a nomination in the “Gnarliest Newb” category, which is compared to a rookie of the year-type of award in a press release about the awards program.
