Cavaliers (3-3) at Timberwolves (2-4)Tip-off: 8 p.m. TV: FOX Sports Ohio HD, Cavaliers Live pre-game show at 7:30 p.m. Probable starters:C Anderson Varejao vs. Darko Milicic PF Antawn Jamison vs. Kevin Love SF Omri Casspi vs. Michael Beasley SG Anthony Parker vs. Wesley Johnson PG Kyrie Irving vs. Luke Ridnour All-Time Series: Cavs lead, 27-15, but Timberwolves have won two straight. Notes and Observations: While most of the hype is centered around Irving and T-Wolves rookie point guard Ricky Rubio, this game is more likely to boil down to how well the Cavs contain Love and Beasley. Besides that, Irving is likely to spend most of his time facing Ridnour. Jamison is not a good matchup against the physical Love, and the Cavs dont really match up well with the Wolves overall. Thats not to say the Cavs dont have a shot here. The Wolves are still finding their way, too, and anything can happen in a game involving two very young teams. Another key matchup might involve No. 4 draft pick Tristan Thompson vs. No. 2 Derrick Williams at power forward off the bench. Thompson has fit in extremely well with the Cavs, who had him ranked as the drafts third best prospect -- and maybe even second ahead of Williams. ... Wolves reserve guard J.J. Barea, a key member of last year's world champiom Mavericks, will sit out with a hamstring injury.

Was that Lloyd and Harry at the Target Center?

MINNEAPOLIS For several years now, the Target Center hasn't exactly been the place to see and be seen after all, the Timberwolves have had the Western Conference's worst record for two years running. Former Cavaliers Guard Trajan Langdon On Ricky Rubio At Nineteen

If Pistol Pete Maravich fathered a Spanish son it could possibly be Ricky Rubio. That's my take after watching Rubio perform on the NBA stage so far this season. He's averaging just over 9 points, 7 assists, and about 4 rebounds per game heading into tonight's match-up between his Minnesota Timberwolves and your Cleveland Cavaliers, but more than that he's just been...

Cleveland Cavaliers 98, Minnesota Timberwolves 87

The Cavs turned up the D in Minnesota tonight as they held the T-Wolves to 39.2% shooting from the floor and it was a big reason for the nice road win.  Antawn Jamison led the way for the Cavs with 22 points, 6 rebounds, 1 steal and 2 blocked shots tonight.  Kyrie Irving (14 points, 5 rebounds, 5 assists and 1 blocked shot) and Anderson Varejao (13 points, 12 rebounds, 5 assists...

Thoughts On Cavs Seven Game Journey Which Heads Now To Minnesota

To steal a line from a famous Chinese Proverb, the journey is the reward. The Chinese philosopher who first coined that phrase and never got any credit for it wasn't talking about these Cleveland Cavaliers specifically, but he could've been. Or she could've been.  Tuesday's win over the Bobcats was fun. Couple that with the fact that it was the second time these...
