However, for Vermont fans, the search for a new coach should begin very soon. That is because sources are reporting that Mike Lonergan is in negotiations with George Washington University on becoming their next head coach. 126-68 as a coach, many considered him to be a prime target for former AE Commish Patrick Nero, who was named AD at GW last month.
Tomorrow could be a happy day for many AE coaches, but a sad day to Burlington.
