San Diego Chargers WR Malcolm Floyd was carted off the field last week in the Chargers win over the Eagles. Floyd was hit by Nate Allen and DeMeco Ryans and they basically sandwiched him. Floyd laid on the field for a bit as the stadium was silent before finally being carted off in a stretcher. According to Ian Rapoport of NFL Network Floyd will be getting a second opinion on his neck, but until then he will be wearing a brace. This injury could be a big blow to the Chargers who had everything clicking on offense last week.#Chargers WR Malcom Floyd, who was carted off, getting a 2nd opinion. But out indefinitely, source says. In a neck brace for at least a week— Ian Rapoport (@RapSheet) September 16, 2013Floyd will most likely miss this weekend and then it will be a wait and see process after he gets his second opinion. The Chargers did receive some good news however, rookie linebacker Manti Te'o is set to return practice Wednesday morning. Te'o has been sidelined with a foot injury since August 8th when he got hurt in the preseason opener against the Seahawks. The Chargers will see how Te'o responds in practice this week and if everything goes well Te'o may have a chance to play this Sunday.Follow @TheNFLInjuryRpt Looking for fantasy football advice?
