Newly-acquired Chargers WR Josh Reed might stick out like a sore thumb when standing amongst his position mates, but he's fitting in nonetheless, according to the North Country Times. At 5-foot-10, he doesn't fit the prototype of the typical San Diego receiver. "If you look at me compared to the rest of the receivers, it's like night and day," Reed said. "Most of them are big and tall, but I can get away with being a little smaller playing slot (receiver). Coach (Norv Turner) felt like there was something about my game that he thought could work in this offense, so I want to make sure I do everything I can to get up to speed and learn my role." Reed is replacing Legedu Naanee in the slot, who was moved outside to fill in for holdout Vince Jackson.
