MVN:
Last week, I expressed my concern that the Chiefs didn't do enough to surround Cassel with enough weapons. The good news is that there are still some people in the market worth looking at. As I said previously, I normally don't approve of throwing money at free agents; however, this year is an exception--the Chiefs should bring in some veteran stopgaps so that Cassel has some players to work with.I found a fairly updated list of free agents at Scout.com and will evaluate some of the names brought up. Today, I'll focus on the offense:Quarterback: The Chiefs have a pretty nice quarterback situation, with Cassel and Thigpen as the top two quarterbacks.
