Matt McChesney, a backup offensive lineman who had a chance at making the 53-man roster in Denver this season, may never be playing football again. According to Mike Klis of the Denver Post, McChesney’s career could be over after a golf cart struck his foot, causing a severe ankle injury.
McChesney had just climbed out of his cart when a trailing cart accidentally struck him. The ankle had been surgically repaired after he was injured during the 2009 preseason.
