NFL grants eligibility to 65 underclassmenNFL.comThe NFL announced the 65 underclassmen who have been declared eligible for the 2012 draft, and there's a name missing from that list that will certainly have people interested: Chris Polk.Simmer down Husky fans. He's still headed to the NFL, but even though Polk did have a year of eligibility remaining, he's not technically an underclassman in the NFL's evaluation since he was on campus for four seasons, and even played two games as a true freshman back in 2008 before suffering a shoulder injury and receiving a medical redshirt.In fact, Polk is even on the Senior Bowl roster for the Jan. 28 game in Mobile, Alabama. He's one of three UW seniors who will be playing in the game: DT Alameda Ta'amu and OL Senio Kelemete have also been announced as participants.As for the number of underclassmen in this year's NFL draft, 65 sets a record, surpassing last year's mark of 56.
