Former UFC light heavyweight champ Chuck Liddell entered a Downtown Los Angeles courthouse Friday to request full custody of his 12-year-old son. According to TMZ, Cade told Liddell he no longer wanted to reside with his mother in Colorado.
After being forced to live “with a severe toothache for 2 to 3 months” under Lori Geyer’s care, Liddell claims his son’s “health and safety are at risk.”
Furthermore, Liddell’s attorney alleged in court that Cade was being abused because he had to perform physical labor, such as snow removal.
The judge ruled that the Colorado courts have jurisdiction over custody. A hearing has been scheduled there on Tuesday.
As Liddell was leaving the courthouse with fiancé Heidi Northcott, “The Iceman” professed he is trying to “protect” his son. The UFC Hall of Famer wouldn’t discuss much else, however did say he was headed to Colorado.
