Who said Clint Dempsey would be hurt by Bobby Zamora’s exit to Queens Park Rangers?

Dempsey may just be the most in form goal scorer in the English Premier League right now after notching his 10th league goal of the season and 16th across all competitions. Today’s finish puts Dempsey behind only Robin van Persie (25), Wayne Rooney (18), and Sergio Aguero (17) for the most total goals from a Premier League player.

However, Clint’s goal in the 69th minute was not enough for the Cottagers to grab all three points, as West Brom found a late 82nd minute equalizer to split the spoils.

I hope the world is taking notice of what Dempsey is doing right now. The man is on a mission and seems to score in every single game he is on the pitch no matter what the occasion.

Dempsey just puts himself in magnificent positions and in those positions he knows how to finish, which is always refreshing to see from a US player. Furthermore, for Dempsey to be producing at this rate on this stage is truly ground-breaking from a US perspective.

As a result, it’s time for Dempsey to be placed in a more attacking role on the international level and for him to move to a Champions League squad on the club level. Let’s just hope both outcomes come to fruition soon.
