Collop Selected in Sixth Round of Major League Baseball Amateur Draft by Chicago White Sox; Future Rocket Hamann Also Selected in 24th Round by Cleveland

Toledo junior RHP Justin Collop was selected in the Major League Baseball Amateur Draft on Wednesday in the sixth round (193rd overall pick) by the Chicago White Sox. In addition to Collop's draft selection, future Rocket RHP Mike Hamann was chosen in the 24th round (725th overall pick) by Cleveland. Collop and Hamann are the 33rd and 34th Rockets to be drafted since the 1965 inception of the MLB Draft, respectively.
