Mike Wallace Tweets That He Will Be With Steeler Nation In 2012
On Monday, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Mike Wallace accidentally retweeted a tweet on Twitter from a troller stating that he would not be with the Steelers this season. His mistake must have prompted a pretty good response on the social media platform as he has since deleted the retweet and posted a response stating: "Didn't mean to retweet that I will be with #steelernation...
Roster Move: Colts Cut QB Trevor Vittatoe, Have Open Roster Spot
Yesterday, the Colts cut QB David Legree and signed RB Mewelde Moore. Today, the Colts announced the release of another UDFA quarterback, Trevor Vittatoe.
This leaves the Colts with Andrew Luck, Drew Stanton, and Chandler Harnish at the quarterback position. The Colts will likely carry three quarterbacks into the season, since they no longer have ironman Peyton Manning at the helm...
Is Today The Last Birthday That Rashard Mendenhall Will Celebrate As A Steeler?
Today Pittsburgh Steelers running back Rashard Mendenhall celebrates his 25th birthday and you have to wonder if it is the last one that he will have as a member of the black and gold.
Mendenhall, who is entering the final year of his rookie contract, more than likely will start the 2012 season on the PUP list as he continues to rehab the torn ACL he suffered in the regular season...

Pittsburgh Steelers: Isaac Redman Will Carry Offense Early On
Steelers starting running back Rashard Mendenhall suffered a torn ACL in week 17 of last season. The injury hurt the back’s chances at his third consecutive 1,000-yard rushing season. Mendenhall finished with 928 yards in 2011.

Andrew Luck Still Waiting for Contract From Colts
Before the new collective bargaining agreement put in place after the lockout ended last year, you would usually see the top pick in the draft sign his deal and then we would work our way down after the market had been set. But with the new deal in place, we’re seeing that things are going to be quite different.
17 of the first 32 picks in the draft have come to terms or signed...

Out with the old and in with the new is the strategy with the rebuilding Colts (2006 Super Bowl win is a distant memory). First overall pick Andrew Luck will have his Stanford security...
Rashard Mendenhall will likely miss the first six weeks of the season

Peter King of SI.com believes that Pittsburgh Steelers running back Rashard Mendenhall should miss at least the first six games of the season as he continues to recover from ACL surgery.
Since Mendenhall tore his ACL at the end of the 2011 regular season, Id be really surprised if he has any type of impact for the Steelers this coming season. Ligament tears typically...

The Indianapolis Colts have signed No. 1 overall pick Andrew Luck.
The quarterback's agent and uncle, Will Wilson, confirmed Thursday that the deal had been completed. Terms were not immediately released.
Colts owner Jim Irsay told reporters in late April he expected Luck's deal would be almost identical to the four-year, $22 million contract last year's top pick, Cam...
Steelers offense: Early struggles or early success?
What is the actual expectation of Haley and the offense? What if the Steelers lose the first few games? What if the losses are high scoring games in the 30′s, but the defense gives it away? What happens if they get blown out early as contrasted by low scoring games? The new offense may have a ton of potential but there is also going to be growing pains, to think that there won’t...
Rashard’s Mendenhall-ted
We have breaking news here, people, and it cannot wait until tomorrow. Ok, mainly because I already have an article scheduled and I don’t see a reason to move it back so you’re getting one of those fresh off the presses releases. It’s looking more and more like Rashard Mendenhall will begin the year on the PUP list and that doesn’t mean he’s getting put in an animal...
