The 2011-12 Duke basketball season got off to a good start Friday night at its third annual Countdown to Craziness event. The Blue Devils welcomed in the season with yet another spectacular show, highlighted by an extremely competitive Blue-White scrimmage that came down to the final seconds.

Head basketball coach Mike Krzyzewski feels that junior center Mason Plumlee is on track to become a primary scoring threat for the Blue Devils. Earlier in the week, Plumlee talked about his role and why he believes he's ready to live up to his coach's expectations.
