Sunday's IndyCar event in Las Vegas turned from what was supposed to be a celebration of another successful season to one of the most somber scenes you'll ever see in sports. Dan Wheldon, one of IndyCar's most popular drivers, died in a horrific 15-car wreck. The 33-year-old's car was sent airborn and it slammed into the top wall of the track. Wheldon was flown to a nearby hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The drivers got together once they received the news of Wheldon's passing and decided to cancel the remaining laps of the race.
