Remember when David Lee recently tore his hip flexor, and he was assumed to be out for the season. Reasonable, considering the injury, right? Well, this is the playoffs. And David Lee is apparently full aware. Defying all odds, and knowing that his Golden State Warriors are in the middle of a heated series with the Denver Nuggets, he has been cleared to play and could play a few minutes tonight. Golden State forward David Lee has been cleared to play and could see limited minutes tonight, source told CBSSports- cbssports.com/nba/blog/eye-o… — Jeff Goodman (@GoodmanCBS) May 3, 2013   Golden State’s David Lee cleared to play tonight and could see around 8-10 minutes, source told CBSSports — cbssports.com/nba/blog/eye-o… — Jeff Goodman (@GoodmanCBS) May 3, 2013   This is unbelievable. It was assumed that David Lee would have been out for the rest of the postseason, and understandably so. Tearing your hip is a pretty painful thing, and to return less than 2 weeks later is unbelievable. We’ll see how effective he can be, and how much his injury will show. -Mark Evans, Assistant Manager/Editor of Content Follow us on Twitter The post David Lee Cleared To Play After Tearing Hip Flexor appeared first on Pass The Pill - Kings of Hoops.
