John King returns to Wauters Motorsports to pilot the No. 5 Fairway Ford in Friday night’s Lucas Oil 150 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series race at Phoenix International Raceway.
Richie Wauters in his term as crew chief has an exceptional track record boasting one win (Kyle Busch 2007), five top-five and six top-10 finishes in just seven starts on the 1-mile flat-track in Avondale, Arizona.
King will be making his first start at Phoenix International Raceway and his second start for Wauters Motorsports. He debuted with the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series team at Kentucky Speedway in September.
