Dr. Saturday:
Even with Tate Forcier holding court as the de facto freshman starter, Michigan fans have been loudly smacking their lips over the Pat White-like potential of fellow noob Denard Robinson out of Rich Rodriguez's shotgun. And just in case you missed it on the highlight reels Saturday (which is quite possible, because I did), Ann Arbor's new hotness lived up to the hype in the most spectacular, haphazard, "I am freshman, hear me break the sound barrier" fashion he could have possibly managed against Western Michigan:
Robinson didn't do much as a passer, but combine that run with Forcier's three-touchdown, no-pick dossier in his first start and a near-shutout by a beleaguered defense, the kids effectively administered a three-hour antidote to one very, very long year.
