Louisville junior receiver DeVante Parker is one of the many players on the Cardinal roster that have landed spots on preseason award watch lists.
On Tuesday morning the initial watch list for the 2013 Biletnikoff Award was released and Parker was one of 75 players across the country to be honored. The Biletnikoff Award is given annually to the nation’s top receiver.
The winner is selected by the Biletnikoff Award National Selection Committee, a group of over 200 college football journalists, commentators, and former receivers. Players may be added to the watch list as their season performances dictate.
The Louisville native finished his freshman season with ten touchdown receptions and had sixteen as a sophomore in 2012. In two seasons, Parker has a total of 58 receptions for 1,035 yards.
