Hey, Michigan fans. Have the Wolverines driven you to drinking yet this season? They apparently did just that to one fan who was arrested on a drunken-driving charge in Dearborn, Mich., around 2:30 a.m. on Nov. 3, about seven hours or so after his favorite football team got humiliated by instate rival Michigan State. The Dearborn Press & Guide reported that the 25-year-old man from Wolverine Lake, whose name wasnt released, admitted while being booked that he had gotten drunk because he was so upset over Michigans 29-6 loss to the Spartans. He also mentioned he was particularly annoyed with the play-calling of offensive coordinator Al Borges after the Wolverines got sacked seven times and were held to minus-48 yards rushing, the worst total in school history. Michigan (6-3) has lost three of its last four entering Saturdays game at Northwestern. According to the newspaper, the diehard Wolverine drinker was found sleeping in his car at a gas station with the engine running. He had slurred speech, bloodshot eyes and smelled of alcohol. He admitted to police that he also had urinated on himself. A blood-alcohol level of 0.24 far exceeded the states super-drunk mark of 0.17. His vehicle got impounded - kind of like his football team the previous day. In college football, where fans are so passionate, drinking their sorrows away is nothing new. Just dont do it and drive. var __chd__ = 'aid':11079,'chaid':'www_objectify_ca';(function() var c = document.createElement('script'); c.type = 'textjavascript'; c.async = true;c.src = ( 'https:' == document.location.protocol ?
