Did the Cleveland Browns commit to Trent Richardson after a successful pre-draft visit from the standout Alabama running back.
Trent (@TrentRich03) has taken to twitter over the last week, dropping hints that Cleveland may be his draft day destination. After meeting with the Browns higher-ups, Trent tweeted the following:
Yesterday, the ex-Bama star posted the above picture of a Browns hat he received from the team, 5 days after leaving Cleveland. Then Saturday morning he let the world know what his favorite color is:
Is this series of tweets a reflection of a verbal commitment he has received from the Browns? In my opinion, they would be crazy to pass on this future NFL Pro Bowler and a building block for their offensive offense. Then again, we are talking about Cleveland…

We all know the Browns were bad last year. I think most of us also know that the Browns were pretty unlucky as well. I believe that you make your own luck to some extent by dealing well with adversity. The Browns certainly didn’t do that last season. Regardless, there’s almost no denying the bad luck. Peyton Hillis’ injuries and off-the-field incidents were unlucky (or cursed...
The hat Trent Richardson posted on twitter friday
Well all signs point to Trent Richardson at number four like it or not. I for one like it he is a great all around back.Trent was the best back in Alabama even when he wasn’t starting.Trent in Cleveland would be just awesome.

Lots of people are concerned about the Cleveland Browns Quarterback Colt McCoy, whether or not he is the right guy to lead the Cleveland Browns. On the next Cleveland Sports 360 Show Monday night at 6:00p.m. we will be talking Brain Codes with two people who conduct studies on professional athletes to determine how these guys will perform in N.F.L. conditions. In a corner of the mid-west part of the United States, off the shores of Lake Erie lies the city of Cleveland Ohio. It is a city that has risen and fallen within the zeitgeist of national attention. From the Lake Erie fire in 1969, to the transformation of its blue-collared jobs it thrived on into another stretch of the U.S. Rust Belt the city of Cleveland has had its hard times...
With the fourth overall pick in the 2012 NFL draft, the Cleveland Browns have an opportunity to draft a player that could be a real difference-maker and no player will make a bigger impact on this team than Alabama running back Trent Richardson.CLICK HERE TO READ MORE »
The Cleveland Browns had the opportunity to trade up to number two with the St. Louis Rams so they could then draft Robert Griffin III to be the savior of the franchise. They didn’t and I am happy they didn’t. I know RG3 is the Heisman Winner, and a big time talent, with a great personality. Now hear me out. The Browns have 2 picks in the first 22 and a high 2nd round as well...
The Cleveland Browns have been speculated about by nearly every sports network and media outlet to be a potential partner to trade within the upcoming NFL draft. But now, Vikings General Manager Rick Spielman has suggested that Minnesota may be willing to trade out of the number three pick for the right price. And there could be some interest in moving up. At least more interest...
As the 2012 NFL Draft slowly approaches, all signs are beginning to point to Alabama’s RB Trent Richardson being the 4th overall selection by the Cleveland Browns. This would mark the 1st time ever in franchise history the Browns would select a running back in the top five. But it would be the fourth time the club has selected a running back in the top ten. So that being said let’s...
During this NFL off-season the Cleveland Browns hired former Vikings head coach Brad Childress as their new offensive coordinator. During the 2011 season the Browns were without an offensive coordinator, and the team finished 29th in the league offensively. During last year’s poor offensive performance head coach Pat Shurmur served as both the team’s head coach and offensive...
Previously on Outside the Boxscore, we have shown you the exploits of Cleveland comedian Mike Polk and his rants about Cleveland professional sports teams.
Polk's most recent offering came in this video about him writing a letter to the Cleveland Browns ticket office about renewing his season tickets:
Pro Football Talk has compiled the list of visits and the dates the Browns have taken from drafted players. I took that list and decided to compile highlight videos for each guy for Browns fans. Keep in mind that lots of players look really good when all their best plays are edited onto Youtube. Also, note that people put some crazy music to Youtube highlight videos. I am posting...
