The Miami Dolphins have recently worked out free agent wide receiver Jabar Gaffney.

Gaffney has been a free agent after being released by the New England Patriots. He was hoping to hold out to re-sign with the Patriots once his injury is fully healed.
He has been dealing with a thigh injury. However, the trade by the Patriots for Greg Salas likely closed that door on Gaffney returning to the team, so he is looking for work elsewhere.
Gaffney could sign with the Dolphins in the coming days. He is a good possession receiver; however, the Dolphins already have Davone Bess as a possession receiver.

Trimming the roster down to 53 guys is difficult for every NFL team. It's especially hard when you possess the talent level of the Patriots. Bill Belichick turned some heads with his recent cuts, as the Patriots parted ways with a few players who many New England fans expected to be in the fold when the Pats kick off Week 1. Among those cut were three wide receivers (Deion Branch...
The Patriots traded a late 2015 round pick to St. Louis for wide receiver Greg Salas. The trade gives the Patriots the depth they needed after releasing veteran wide receivers Deion Branch, Donte Stallworth and Jabar Gaffney.

The New England Patriots Facebook page posted these pictures from their owner Robert Kraft‘s annual team Labor Day BBQ that was held on Saturday.
There is nothing scandalous about these pictures but they do consist of the three things that women readers of RideThePine.com love – Tom Brady, a shirtless Rob Gronkowski, and Bob Kraft in a v-neck. Alright, maybe the last one isn’t...

2011 in a Nutshell: 13-3 AFC East Champions; Lost Super Bowl
It was almost a case of last team standing for the Patriots in 2011; everything seemed to break their way en route to an AFC Championship and Super Bowl appearance where those damn New York Giants beat them again. Every other elite team in the AFC had something major go wrong during the season which left the Patriots as...

Former New England Patriots safety James Ihedigbo announced Sunday that he has signed with the Baltimore Ravens. Ihedigbo, 28, started 12 games for the Patriots last year and contributed...
The Patriots aren't done jumbling their wide receiver corps just yet. After spending the offseason and trading camp acquiring dozens of pass-catchers only to turn most of them loose in recent weeks, New England has acquired a new threat: wide receiver Greg Salas, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN. St. Louis traded wide receiver Greg Salas to the New England Patriots for a late...
“You know how many “big” free agents are going to start on the Patriots this season? Two:...
Patriots Offensive coordinator Josh McDaniels influenced deal to acquire another wide receiver, Greg Salas. The former Rams WR is willing to do whatever it takes to help the team.
David Garrard was back at practice Monday for the first time since he underwent knee surgery, and while he's working to get himself back to 100 percent and ready to play, he also has to be wondering whether his time with the Dolphins is nearing an end.
The New England Patriots released a trio of wide receivers this past week in Deion Branch, Jabar Gaffney and Donte Stallworth. The Miami Dolphins are perhaps thinner at that position than any other team in the National Football League right now. Going after one or more would make sense, even after the latest ex-Patriots receiver the Dolphins signed didn’t work out all that well...
