The draft lottery just finished with Blake Griffin sentenced to start his NBA career with the Clippers. The Jazz, meanwhile, avoided the potential nightmare scenarios of either the Knicks or the Thunder landing the No. 1 overall pick. In fact, however small the Jazz's odds were of acquiring a big man like Chris Kaman were going into Tuesday, they probably increased with the Clippers now positioned to add another post player in Griffin. The Grizzlies finally got some good news in the lottery, moving up to No. 2, where they will have their choice of Ricky Rubio or Hasheem Thabeet. The Thunder also moved up, but only to the No. 3 spot. They won't be able to keep Griffin at home, but they could add a shot-blocking center in Thabeet to what is looking more and more like a stacked young team. As for the Knicks, they stayed at No. 8, even with Allan Houston bringing Reggie Jackson to the lott...
