Ever since joining the ACC, Syracuse Orange fans have been wondering how many fans will pack the Carrier Dome when the Duke Blue Devils and North Carolina Tar Heels come to town. They will find out this season.
The ACC released the locations for every conference game today and the Orange are hosting some pretty solid games...
Syracuse will play home-and-home dates with its two ACC "partners" -- Boston College and Pittsburgh.
The Orange have home-and-home series with Miami and Duke.
SU's five other league home games feature Georgia Tech, Clemson, North Carolina, North Carolina State and Notre Dame.
The remaining road-contest portion of the slate has Syracuse traveling to Florida State, Wake Forest, Virginia Tech and Maryland.
(Note: For some weird reason, Virginia is not included. I'm going to guess they're the missing road game) (It is).
Duke, UNC, NC State, Miami, Pitt and Notre Dame should all be pretty solid while Duke & Florida State is really the only road game that sticks out at the moment. By all accounts, Syracuse scored pretty well for its first ACC schedule.
I've always wanted to see what it would be like to play in Cameron Indoor Stadium. Careful what you wish for, I suppose...
Shame that Clemson is at the Dome and not the other way around. Was kinda looking forward to seeing Boeheim against the local media (and Denny's enthusiasts) there.
What about you, good deal? See any trouble ahead? Think we'll break the attendance record for Duke? Already booking your trip to Durham?
