Found via Bugs and Cranks, Red Sox second baseman Dustin Pedroia is here to fill the void left behind by Lenny Dykstra's recent Chapter 11 filing. You see, Pedroia is giving a financial education to kids for Salem Five Bank. In the video below, Pedroia explains taxes ... and some other stuff. "So you see kids, that's why mommy and daddy don't love you in April. They're very stressed out by that income tax bracket they're in and all those taxes they have to pay to support your school."* The only other thing I can take away from this video is that Dustin Pedroia really doesn't like paying taxes, which now puts him in the conversation of "next athlete we'll here about for tax evasion 10 years after he retires." *Not an actual quote from the video.
