It came out of the blue... a near-perfect game plan on both sides of the ball...
Labeled by Dallas defensive coordinator Rob Ryan as the "All Hype Team" during the preseason, the Eagles played a near-perfect game in improving their record to 3-4 and snapping their five-game home losing streak. Quarterback Michael Vick and running back LeSean McCoy led a relentless offensive attack that seemed to befuddle, frustrate and anger Ryan. After McCoy capped the scoring with a 13-yard TD run with 13 minutes, 21 seconds left in the game, Ryan threw up his hands and barked at several Cowboys defenders as they passed him on their way to the bench. The Eagles produced four touchdowns and two field goals in their first six possessions.McCoy continued his outstanding season by rushing for a career-high 185 yards and two touchdowns, on a career-high 30 carries against a Dallas defense that entered the game having allowed a league-best 69.7 rushing yards per game.

BEST OF MAXIM
Prior to the season, Cowboys defensive coordinator Rob Ryan took a page out of his brother’s coaching handbook, sending a few thinly veiled shots at the Eagles and their litany of free agent acquisitions.
Ryan dubbed Philly the “all-hype” team and vowed that the ‘Boys would “kick their ass” all over the gridiron.
On Sunday night, the time arrived for him to back up the...
In following Rob Ryan, Dick Jauron has turned down the volume while his Browns' defense is turning in some good performances, sports columnist Bud Shaw writes in his Sunday Spin.
The 'all-hype' team showed up in Philadelphia on Sunday night and made Rob Ryan eat his words.
I did not want to see him go, but at least there is no threat of this happening again. If the Dallas Cowboys are going to beat the Philadelphia Eagles this week, they will need another strong showing from the defense. Rob Ryan’s defense can change significantly from week to week. It seems that there is much more pre-snap movement and exotic packages against the better offenses...
While Rob Ryan took all the blame for this loss, it should be for what happened in the game and during the week and not for any comments he made in July regarding the Eagles
Michael Vick threw two touchdown passes, LeSean McCoy had a career-best 185 yards rushing and two scores and the Philadelphia Eagles routed the Dallas Cowboys 34-7 on Sunday night.
The Eagles and Bears each entered last season’s late November at Soldier Field with 7-3 records. After the Eagles spotted the Bears a big lead early, they fought back and nearly pulled off a miracle come-from-behind victory. But it was not to be as the Bears held on for a 31-26 win. The loss snapped the Eagles’ three-game win streak.Michael Vick completed 29 of 44 passes for...
There is nothing like the Eagles crushing the Cowboys, especially when it is on national television for all the country to see. The Eagles basically played a perfect game in downing Dallas, 34-7, and are now 3-4 and find themselves right back in the thick of the division. Here are my thoughts on the game:-LeSean McCoy was clearly the best player on the field. McCoy juked, jived...
Now these are the Philadelphia Eagles we were expecting heading into the season. In a dominant performance, the Eagles destroyed the Dallas Cowboys by a final score of 34-7. And honestly, it wasn’t even that close.
Michael Vick had one of his best games of the season, finishing 21-for-28 for 279 passing yards, 50 rushing yards and two passing touchdowns. Running back LeSean McCoy...

Can Birds Keep Their Mojo After Bye Week?
Will Ryan Have a Better 2nd Half? (AP)
The Atlanta Falcons earned a much needed win in Detroit and gave themselves and fans a big boost heading into their bye week. It comes almost at a perfect time with several injuries needing healing and following a pretty grueling first part of the schedule. Seemingly, the road gets a little easier with...
