Jason Cole of Yahoo Sports recently reported that there has been tension between Michael Vick and Eagles assistant coaches.
One of the internal issues was tension between Vick and the coaching staff, with the quarterback believing some of the assistant coaches were pushing to have him benched, according to a source familiar with the situation, Cole wrote.
Today, Vick denied the report.
Thats absolutely false. Coach [Andy Reid] and I never had that conversation, Vick said. Everything we talked about in that room was personal, was man-to-man, but that never came up.
So hes not concerned about that at all?
Not at all, Vick said. My coaches do a great job of getting me prepared, putting me in the best position possible. Ive got nothing but the utmost respect for them, and they know that, without me even having to say that on camera.
Reid offered a similar take.
I dont know where that would come from, he said. Thats not the case. Everybodys on board with Michael and they have been. Source: PhillyMag.com Attached Thumbnails

Philadelphia Eagles: Vick to keep starting job
“Michael Vick was our quarterback, is our quarterback, and will be our quarterback.” Those were the words of Eagles coach Andy Reid Thursday as he addressed the media for the first time this week. “The Old Michael Vick” Returning For Week 9?
Michael Vick told reporters that he plans on getting “back to being the old Michael Vick.“
“I’ve got to play the game and leave it all out on the field and play aggressive and shoot it and run the ball when I feel there is a need to,” said Vick, via Geoff Mosher of CSN Philly. “If I get a seam, get a crack, take it. Just do what I’ve been born to do, blessed to do...
NFL Rumors: Michael Vick Must Man Up And Stop Blaming Media For Philadelphia Eagles Woes
Michael Vick is pointing a finger at the media for the Philadelphia Eagles’ woes throughout the 2012 NFL season. The Eagles are a disappointing 3-4 this season because of the media. It has nothing to do with the poor play calling of Andy Reid. It has nothing to do with all of Vick’s interceptions and fumbles and poor decisions. It has nothing to do with an overrated defense....

2 quarterbacks, 2 increasingly desperate teams
Michael Vick and Drew Brees came into the NFL the same year.
Now, they're in the same predicament.
Both are the quarterbacks of increasingly desperate teams, the season teetering on the edge of collapse.
Brees has essentially become a one-man show for the New Orleans Saints (2-5), who are plagued by a historically leaky defense and anemic running game.
For Vick, the stakes...
Saints Nation: Scouting the Eagles
I have to admit that it gets a little old scouting other teams when no matter who the opponent is the result is getting gashed 500+ yards regardless. Maybe this game at home on Monday Night could be the exception? At least Michael Vick has been struggling mightily with turnovers... but the flipside is the Saints' defense is just what the doctor ordered for an overhyped quarterback...

Fantasy Football preview for the Philadelphia Eagles, Week 9 at the New Orleans Saints
As many fantasy owners have come to accept, 2012 has not been the year to own Philadelphia Eagles players on your team. Players like Michael Vick and LeSean McCoy have not lived up to their high draft spots while players like DeSean Jackson and Jeremy Maclin have not provided the upside potential many owners hoped for. But that may change for at least this week, as the Eagles are...
