Nick Foles is attempting to better his performance from last week when he scored 7 TD’s en route to victory over the Oakland Raiders. Foles task won’t be even close to as simple as week because he’s going to be facing Clay Matthews on the Packers defense. Nick Foles Showing Last Week Was Not a Fluke

So far it appears the answer to that question is no! He isn't lighting it up like he did last week against the Raiders (Green Bay is a little bit better), but he does have this 55-yard touchdown pass to DeSean Jackson so far (6-10, 115 yards and a TD late in the second quarter). From Bleacher Report I wouldn't be surprised if the Eagles tried to emphasize the...

Foles stars again as Eagles beat Pack

Nick Foles keeps throwing touchdown passes. The Green Bay Packers keep losing quarterbacks. A week after tying the NFL record by passing for seven TDs, Foles connected for three long touchdowns and the Philadelphia Eagles pulled away for a 27-13 victory over the injury-ravaged Packers on Sunday. Foles connected with DeSean Jackson for a 55-yard score in the first half. Touchdown...

Riley Cooper loves Nick Foles at quarterback

Good things happen with Nick Foles at quarterback for the Eagles, especially for Riley Cooper. A week after tying the NFL record by passing for seven TDs, Foles connected for three long scores and Philadelphia pulled way for a 27-13 victory Sunday over the injury-ravaged Green Bay Packers. “He has great poise,” Cooper said. “He’s […]

It Might Be Time to Press the Panic Button on the Packers Season

When Aaron Rodgers was lost to a broken collarbone last week, it was seen by many to be the beginning of the end for the Packers season. After all, when you are talking about losing the best player in the league for up to six weeks, it is going to be difficult to replace that presence on the field, and his leadership off the field. Despite not having Rodgers leading the offense,...

The Resemblance is Uncanny: Seneca Wallace Throws like Uncle Rico

Aaron Rodgers understudy, Seneca Wallace had anything but his job cut out for him when he had to take over for the injured elite quarterback. He struggled a majority of the game, while Green Bay’s running game kept them in it, but the Pack fell short by a touchdown possibly due to Seneca’s throwing form mimicing that of another quarterback who also fell short in his high school...

Week 10: Packers vs. Eagles Preview and Prediction

This is a game which looked ripe for the picking a week ago: the Green Bay Packers playing the Philadelphia Eagles at Lambeau Field. The Pack, so we thought, would be coming off a big Monday night win against Da Bearz, having secured their lead at the top of the NFC North. This would begin a stretch of games for the Packers where the team could separate itself from the rest of the...

Eagles expect heavy dose of Eddie Lacy

With Aaron Rodgers injured, the Philadelphia Eagles expect the Green Bay Packers to play old-school football. The Packers (5-3) have relied heavily on passing for more than two decades behind the arms of Brett Favre and Rodgers. Now they're likely to put the ball in Eddie Lacy's hands as much as possible. Seneca Wallace, released by two teams this year, will be the quarterback...

Packers O-Line gets a boost

The Packers offense needs all the help it can get right now. Aaron Rodgers is out with a shoulder injury, so it will be imperative that the offensive line gives Seneca Wallace all the time he needs to operate and make quality decisions. Friday, starting guard T.J. Lang was cleared to practice after having suffered a concussion. Assuming he doesn't conk his head between...
