It’s no secret the man crush Bill Belichick has on Baltimore safety Ed Reed and the fact he will be available in free agency only opens the window for the Patriots to pounce. According to Peter King of SI.com, Reed will most likely become a free agent and that Belichick would be first in line to obtain his services. It’s a similar scenario that unfolded with Rodney Harrison in 2003, a veteran safety who seems to be the key to resurrecting Belichick’s defense.
