After a spectacular night of MMA action, UFC president Dana White awarded Frankie Edgar (pictured), Charles Oliveira, Cub Swanson, Dennis Siver and Chris Weidman each an additional $50,000 for their special performances Saturday night at “UFC 162: Silva vs. Weidman.” There were no tap outs on the card, so obviously nobody won “Submission of the Night.” Instead, the UFC handed out two “Fight of the Night” checks. Edgar and Oliveira, as well as Swanson and Siver each pocketed an extra $50k for their thrilling scraps. As expected, Wediman took home “Knockout of the Night” for putting Anderson Silva to sleep in the show’s featured attraction. UFC 162 took place inside MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Fight of the Night: Cub Swanson, Dennis Siver, Frankie Edgar and Charles Oliveira ($50,000/each) Knockout of the Night: Chris Weidman ($50,000)
