A 29-year old man thought that 7 AM on a Tuesday morning would be the perfect time to steal a purse from an elderly woman in downtown Edmonton. Unfortunately for him, however, he picked the wrong Tuesday because on this Tuesday morning it just so happened that Edmonton Eskimos LB Kitwana Jones was out and on his way to make an appearance at a breakfast. Jones, who heard the woman scream because he had the volume on his music lower than normal, got out of his car, chased the man down an alley, and made his most important tackle of the season so far, detaining the man until police arrived.
Nice job, KJ! Click on the link to hear Jones tell all about it. Or click on the link in the comments section for the story in the Edmonton Journal.
