PLAYERS: Eli Manning
TEAMS: New York Giants
Father’s Day is less than a week away. While Eli Manning will always be closer with his mom, Olivia, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t love and appreciate Archie, either. Where would he be if dad hadn’t forced him to endure football for years while Eli protested that he’d rather be antiquing with mom? Nowhere, that’s for sure. So Eli filmed a commercial for Dick’s Sporting Goods listing off all the big-kid sports that Archie made him play as a youngster. It’s mostly whatever, but it does include footage of Eli uneasily riding a bicycle through the store. “Hey, guys. What gives? There aren’t even training wheels on this thing. Are you trying to get fella hurt? MMOOOOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMM!” [GIF via]
