HOOVER, Ala. – Ole Miss and Alabama faced elimination on Thursday in the SEC Tournament, and it was the Crimson Tide that stood taller with a 7-5 victory.

HOOVER -- Playing in extra innings against a nationally ranked team has become old hat to the Alabama baseball team. On Thursday at the Met the Crimson Tide played in its record ninth extra innings game this season and got a two-run 10th inning single from Mikey White to give the Tide a 7-5 win over Mississippi and stay alive in the Southeastern Conference Baseball Tournamant.
