Eric Wedge Fired

I think most people figured this would happen at one point or another, but I can honestly say I'm surprised it happened when it did, with just a few games left in the season. I guess it's nice to just get it out of the way.I still think Eric Wedge is a decent coach, but clearly he wasn't getting his message across to the players on his team anymore. I mean, they basically quit on him a long time ago, which could partly be because the team traded away two of its best players in Cliff Lee and Victor Martinez.The Indians are now a rebuilding team, so I think it's good that they'll get a fresh start. No word as to who GM Mark Shapiro will replace Wedge with. Although, I'm sure Mike Hargrove's name will come up knowing Cleveland fans.
