Washington lost a heartbreaker last night to the No. 5 Stanford Cardinal, dropping 31-28 in Palo Alto. However, the Huskies don’t have time to sulk, as they take on an equally formidable opponent next week: the Oregon Ducks. In fact, that is the marquee game of week seven of college football, and it was just announced that ESPN’s College GameDay will be making the trip to Seattle to take it in live:

EUGENE- To no one's surprise, less than 24 hours after the departure of tight end Colt Lyerla, the Oregon Ducks were already onto Husky prep week, the absence of a former star already in the rear view mirror.
Colt Lyerla quit yesterday.
He was suspended from Saturday's game for a violation of team rules, had a meeting with the coach Sunday, announced he that he loved Oregon and was leaving on good terms. He's not transferring, but rather dropping out of school to prepare for the NFL Combine and a shot at pro football.
The decision leaves a big question mark on his resume with...
Not bad, Ducks. Not bad.
What a performance by the Ducks Saturday. Mariota, an early Heisman Trophy favorite, passed for 261 yards in the first half and Oregon racked up 415 total yards prior to the break en route to a 43-16 lead.
The Ducks have scored 31 of their 39 offensive touchdowns on drives of less than two minutes, including 5-of-8 against the Buffaloes.

After being suspended for the Colorado game, Oregon Ducks tight end Colt Lyerla has withdrawn from the school altogether - although he does so on good terms.
Nice Win Ducks!
Marcus Mariota threw a season-high five touchdown passes – three in the first half to go along with two rushing scores – as the visiting Ducks won their 32nd straight game against an unranked opponent.

Washington just lost a heartbreaker, 31-28, to the No. 5 team in the country, the Stanford Cardinal. But the Huskies will have no time to lick their wounds – the No. 2 ranked Oregon Ducks are coming to town this weekend.
The school has been hyping this one up for a few weeks now, and has released a two-part video series announcing a stadium “blackout” for the affair. Here...
Oregon State had good success throwing to the tight end against the Buffalo defense, hook routes at the sticks, flat routes at the goal line, drag routes. So far Lyerla's junior season has been one of frustration, nagging injury, illness and false starts, and he's too talented to waste. The Ducks have three very talented tight ends and a four one with good work...
