Stephen Appiah wants to be a pastor
Ex-Ghana captain Stephen Appiah says he will not reject the chance to be a pastor after one of the country’s leading preachers prophesied that the midfielder will take the pulpit in future.
The ex-Juventus says he will not hesitate to respond to the call to be a clergyman after Rev. Sam Korankye Ankrah, leader of the Royal House Chapel International, prophesied a few weeks ago.
Appiah, currently a free agent and a committed member of the Royal House Chapel, a few weeks ago, received the prophecy in a church service conducted by the Apostle-General.
He joined the church in their 5-km walk on May Day and in a post-event interview in his response to the call of God Appiah said he is keen.
“Why not, if God says yes, who am I to say no, I have received the prophecy in good faith,” the generous and highly-popular ex-Ghana captain said.
