Ex-Lion Charles Rogers Charged With Drunk Driving; World Yawns

Ex-NFL wide receiver Charles Rogers was arrested and charged with drunk driving yesterday. Rogers was found passed out in his car at around 2 PM, and had to be revived by emergency personnel. He took (and failed) a sobriety test, and was detained by police. Rogers' bond is set at $50,000. The NFL bust had been the subject of an offseason Outside The Lines segment regarding his difficulties with a recurring collarbone injury as well as marijuana and painkiller addiction, which profoundly affected his speed and ability during his brief period with the Detroit Lions.
