Express announce first four commitments

From the Leader Telegram The Eau Claire Express announced Tuesday the first four players - including two familiar faces - who have verbally committed to join the team this season. Illinois-Chicago teammates Nick Addison and Ryan Shober, returners from last season's Express team, have committed for this summer along with Wichita State teammates Casey Gillaspie and A.J. Ladwig. ^^^ Addison and Shober, both redshirt juniors, played key roles on the Express team that finished 36-34 last season. Addison, a reliable outfielder and middle-of-the-order bat, hit .276 with seven home runs and 27 RBIs in 53 games. Shober, a midseason All-Star in the Northwoods League, batted .282 with five homers, 25 RBIs and 49 runs in 64 games while showcasing his speed and versatility. Read the rest of this article here.
