After two star-making seasons in the Netherlands in which he seemed to finally grow into his long-promised potential, American striker Jozy Altidore will be headed over the channel to the Black Cats of the EPL, Sunderland AFC. The sale, rumored to be for around $6 million USD will send Altidore back to England for the first time since an ill-fated loan to Hull City in 2009. The sale is the second of three expected of top players from the Dutch side.
Altidore has played for so many clubs, and been with the USMNT for so long that it seems impossible that he is only 23 years old.
