As I mentioned yesterday, new Redskins wide receivers coach Keenan McCardell both started AND finished his playing career with Washington. McCardell was a twelfth-round pick of the Redskins in what turned out to be the Super Bowl season of 1991. He spent that entire season on injured reserve but given a Super Bowl ring when the team won, and has his name on the Lombardi Trophy. He signed with Cleveland in '92 and began a productive-if-nomadic NFL career that included another Super Bowl win in Tampa Bay and a cup of coffee with the Houston Texans in Summer 2007 where he would've briefly worked with then-Texans-QB-coach Kyle Shanahan. He finished his career where he started it, finally donning a Redskins jersey in regular season games during the 2007 season. With all that in mind, I checked the team's 1991 press guide to see if there was any other interesting information on McCardell.
