It's game day in Huntington and despite the fact that kick off is just about half a day away, that usually means celebration and excitement. That would be if your team had not just had two below-average weeks after four below-average seasons. This is Football 101, and attendance is 80 percent of your grade, Mark Snyder, you are failing this class. The crowd for the Bowling Green game is expected to be in the neighborhood of 22,000 as the Falcons take on the Herd. Granted those are impressive numbers, if you are say, UL-Monroe. However, this is Huntington, WV, and we have a 38,000 seat stadium and a Tri-State area that should be able to fill that up each week. All of last season the Athletic Department harped about how high our attendance was, yet those numbers seem to have lost the air they had. At the home opener there were only 24,000 fans in attendance and as per usual in Huntington many left at half-time. Though no one could blame them Marshall was being handled by the FCS ...
