Tampa Bay Buccaneers cornerback Darrelle Revis will have a Florida city named after him. For one day. The City of Treasure Island, Fla., by special proclamation of Mayor Bob Minning, will change its name to Revis Island, Fla. on Thursday. The city is located about 30 miles southwest of Tampa. "I'm honored and humbled to receive this special honor from the City of Treasure Island," Revis said on the team's website. "Ever since I became a Buccaneer, the support I've received from the Tampa Bay community has been tremendous. I'll do my best to live up to this honor on Sunday afternoon in our home opener against the New Orleans Saints." In the mayoral proclamation, Revis Island is described as "an island filled with interceptions, touchdown returns and batted passes." Fans can attend the 2 p.m. ET ceremony -- at The Club at Treasure Island, 400 Treasure Island Causeway -- and are encouraged to wear Buccaneers colors, jerseys and apparel...
