This is the final installment of the Fantasy Football Average Draft Position Mock Drafts. We started two weeks ago with ESPN, ran through Yahoo last week and bring you the CBS results today. As with the other drafts, I removed Rob Gronkowski, Aaron Hernandez and now Percy Harvin, Jeremy Maclin & Dennis Pitta as these guys should no longer be drafted due to injury. For the first time, we got a WR/QB combo from Team 9 (Calvin Johnson & Drew Brees). I guess if you are going to go that route, this is the way to go! However, we still do not suggest doing this because Team 9 was left with Frank Gore and Darren McFadden as their RBs. Not terrible choices but McFadden is the 2nd to last RB drafted for a reason! That being said, CBS owners do tend to gravitate towards the RB/RB combo as 6 teams end up with 2 backs after 2 rounds. We saw that happen just 4 times in ESPN and 3 in Yahoo. Team 8 selected the only other QB in the first 2 rounds combining LeSean McCoy with Aaron Rodgers. A.J. Green and Dez Bryant joined Megatron as the only receivers drafted in the top 20.As teams are shifting to running back by committees, the stud backs are slowly diminishing!  Grab them while you can!  Don't be silly and draft your QB or WR or TE in the first two rounds!  After the jump we break down each round and discuss the MANY available QBs and WRs which will help you understand why there is no need to rush into drafting a player of that position! table.tableizer-table { border: 1px solid #CCC; font-family: ; font-size: 14px; } .tableizer-table td { padding: 4px; margin: 3px; border: 1px solid #ccc; } .tableizer-table th { background-color: #104E8B; color: #FFF; font-weight: bold; } Team 1Team 2Team 3Team 4Team 5Adrian Peterson, RB, MINArian Foster, RB, HOUDoug Martin, RB, TBJamaal Charles, RB, KCMarshawn Lynch, RB, SEADez Bryant, WR, DALMaurice Jones-Drew, RB, JACStevan Ridley, RB, NEChris Johnson, RB, TENA.J. Hilton, WR, INDJermichael Finley, TE, GBMartellus Bennett, TE, CHIColin Kaepernick, QB, SFRound 1: As expected, Adrian Peterson was the consensus #1 overall draft pick across the board, followed by Arian Foster. Then it was either Doug Martin or Marshawn Lynch, but clearly playing in a PPR league, Martin has the bigger upside. Ray Rice was the most volatile in the 1st round ranging between pick 5 and falling all the way down to pick 10!Round 2: Let another owner take A.J. Green and Dez Bryant in the 2nd round, as you can duplicate those numbers after your get your second (or even first) RB. MJD is tough to draw conclusions on. He has been drafted as low as 27th in Yahoo but here he is drafted 19th. It depends on your trust of the Jaguars offense and I guess the defense too. Chris Johnson was drafted two rounds early on CBS than Yahoo and a round ahead of ESPN. Round 3: In last weeks post, I went off on Yahoo owners drafting way to many non RBs by the end of the 3rd round. I am proud of CBS owners who selected just 12 non RBs. Yahoo drafted 12 WRs in the top 30! Frank Gore went from the end of Round 4 to the end of Round 3,Round 4: Two weeks ago, the ESPN mock draft had Tom Brady leading off the 3rd round. These days he is going somewhere in the 4th. Even that is probably too high for him with no TE's or Welker. Leave him to someone else! Bringing the focus back to running the football, bad things happen to those that wait. When Lamar Miller is your 2nd RB, you screwed your draft up. David Wilson, Darren Sproles, Chris Ivory and even Ryan Mathews are all better options, that by the way are still available!Rounds 5-7: I will repeat myself all the way to a championship, DON'T WASTE EARLY ROUND PICKS ON ANYTHING OTHER THAT RB. Look who was drafted in these rounds, Colston, Wayne, Gonzalez, Witten, Nicks, Smith & Smith, Luck, Gates, Kaepernick! I would rather be the last guy to fill my QB or TE slot than the RB slots.Best of the undrafted: Tony Romo, QB, DAL Russell Wilson, QB, SEA Eli Manning, QB, NYG David Wilson, RB, NYG Darren Sproles, RB, NO Montee Ball, RB, DEN Le'Veon Bell, RB, PIT Chris Ivory, RB, NYJ Ryan Mathews, RB, SD Greg Jennings, WR, MIN Kenny Britt, WR, TEN Danario Alexander, WR, SD DeSean Jackson, WR, PHI Mike Williams, WR, TB Miles Austin, WR, DAL Anquan Boldin, WR, SF Lance Moore, WR, NO Owen Daniels, TE, HOU Brandon Myers, TE, NYG Brandon Pettigrew, TE, DET
