Houston: So naturally in Week 11, when the 1-8 Jaguars visited the 8-1 Texans, bizzaro world would occur as both teams racked up a total of over 1,000 yards of offense and the Texans needed overtime to win the game. Yep, I saw that one coming too.So what can we expect when the Texans go on the road during a short week to play the Lions, who traditionally play strong on Thanksgiving? Luckily, this iteration of the Lions don’t seem to be able to rise to the occasion, and will likely cede heavy yardage doses of Arian Foster this week. The Jaguars specifically set out to stop Foster in Week 11 and succeeded, not allowing the league’s No. 1 RB to go over 80 total yards. Instead Matt Schaub made them pay to the tune of over 500 yards passing. Expect a more balanced defensive effort by the Lions, which likely means over 100 total yards for Foster and probably a TD or two.The Texans' passing game is sure to have a “coming back to earth” party in this one, especially Andre Johnson. Johnson’s end of season stats are going to be vastly skewed by the incredible 200+ yard effort in Week 11, and expect to see him dial back to his regular average of around 70-100 yards with a decent shot at a score. Owen Daniels also came out of last week’s game without aggravating the injury that kept him out in Week 10, so he should also be good for 50-60 yards and a possible score.Good Start: RB Arian Foster, WR Andre Johnson, TE Owen DanielsMiddle of the Road: QB Matt SchaubBad Start: WR Kevin Walter, TE Garrett Graham Lions: Just when it was looking like the Lions might turn the corner and get back in the NFC playoff race, the Green Bay Packers come to town and wipe out most of that hope with a 24-20 win in Week 11 to drop the Lions to 4-6. Now, the Lions get to face the Houston Texans, a team with only one loss and that sports what’s usually considered one of the best defenses in the league; when Chad Henne isn’t carving them up, apparently. So if Henne can do that kind of damage, surely Matthew Stafford can too, at home and on Thanksgiving, right? Well, not so fast… the Jaguars game was not only a classic trap with a marquee matchup on Thanksgiving that the Texans were very likely already thinking of, but it was also a divisional game which usually end up with more fireworks than not. Look for the Texans to finally get back to their tough defensive ways, which means a hard day’s work for Stafford.Of course, Calvin Johnson will just keep plugging away, as he’s become fantasy’s No. 1 WR even though he hasn’t been getting the TDs this year. Instead, he’s doing it with insane yardage and catch totals while still nursing an ailing knee every week. Titus Young could take some lessons from the hard work Johnson puts in, but obviously it isn’t taking with Young being called a healthy inactive in Week 12 for disciplinary reasons. Once a knucklehead, always a knucklehead. While Mike Thomas is supposedly getting the start, look for Ryan Broyles to finally start making his real mark and to start taking Titus Young’s starter position sooner rather than later.Good Start: QB Matthew Stafford, WR Calvin JohnsonMiddle of the Road: WR Ryan Broyles, TE Brandon PettigrewBad Start: RB Mikel Leshoure, WR Mike Thomas
