Few words on Jeremy Jarmon that nobody has said so far
I've never been interested in college football until Jeremy Jarmon took my class Intro to Comparative Politics, Spring semester 2007. The following Fall semester he took my Eastern European Politics class. Let me tell you this: he has been one of the best students I've ever had, period. Definitely he's not a cheater. When I read his first assignment, it was so well written that it did cast some doubts in me. His roomates were taking the same class and I consulted his (take-home) exam with theirs and his was far better than theirs. I've had other athletes in my classes, but he has been the only one talking to me about his career dreams, how he wanted to get enrolled in the University of Kentucky's Patterson School of Diplomacy and International Commerce and have himself a career in FBI. He has diplayed with me intellectual and professional interests rare not only among other athletes, but also among his fellow students.
I am not here to judge NCAA rules (indeed, I couldn't care less for those rules); yet, I want to judge Jeremy, and my verdict is as follows: Mr. Jarmon is a top guy and will succeed in whatever he decides to do in his life. And, certainly, he will excel in NFL.
