America Least:
Interesting news breaking this even out of Albany. The Albany Times Union is reporting that UAlbany assistant Pat Filian is leaving the university to pursue other opportunities. Filian has won five America East Championships as an assistant coach since 2003 (three with Vermont and two with the Great Danes).
A very interesting move. This is me just speculating, but maybe he has interest in the Vermont job? Even if that isn't true, the man deserves a head coaching position somewhere. He has been a great assistant and UA and was great with the Catamounts. If he is leaving the America East, I for one am sad to see him go.
