It was the same old story but a different day for the Bills in their most recent loss Sunday.  A Buffalo passer threw for barely over 100 yards and a sub-50% completion percentage.  The only difference was that the name on the back of the quarterback’s jersey wasn’t Edwards.  While it is true that Fitzpatrick has thrown for multiple touchdowns in his two starts this year with only two total interceptions, observers can see why he was a late round draft pick from an Ivy League school.  He just doesn’t have big time play making ability.  Trent Edwards has a better arm, he just never used it.  An early first round pick awaits the Bills after the season is over and they can take Jake Locker or some other big time arm then.  For now, Fitzpatrick is their best option.
