Florida Gulf Coast University has taken the NCAA Tournament by storm. Their high-flying alley-oops are all over YouTube and have even landed them the nickname “Dunk City.” Now it seems head coach Andy Enfield will add another dunk specialist to his roster when class of 2013 recruit Jordan Neff comes to Fort Myers next fall. Neff, a 6-foot-6 power forward out of Kennesaw (Ga.) North Cobb High, chose the Eagles over a scholarship offer from UNF. His fast-paced game, above the rim style of play even caught the interest of Georgia and West Virginia, but ultimately he decided that Dunk City was the place for him. When asked why he chose FGCU, Neff said, ”It’s a real fun playing style. It’s fun to watch, the way they play hard.” “I will fit in good there,” he added. After watching the video, we couldn’t agree more. Check out Neff’s highlight reel from last season. This dude is going to be putting people on posters for a long time. If the Eagles keep this Tournament run up, they could land a few more recruits before their season is over. Their beach-side dorms sure don’t hurt the recruiting either.
