The Oakland A's have signed former Giants prospect Boof Bonser to a minor-league contract. Bonser, San Francisco's No. 1 draft pick in 2000, will join the A's Triple-A team in Sacramento. Bonser, who missed all of 2009 after suffering a torn labrum, was released by the Red Sox earlier this week after allowing four runs in two appearances for Boston.
